Falco from Attack on Titan has the same voice actor as Demon Slayer’s Tanjiro

Attack on Titan fans are impressed to find out that the voice actor for Falco Grice is the same voice as Demon Slayer’s Tanjiro Kamado.

Attack on Titan features a myriad of characters from all different backgrounds, races and ways of life.

However, as we move steadily towards the season 4 finale, one Falco Grice is turning into one of the most important characters to date.

Now, as fans look more closely at Falco, many are impressed to find out that they know the voice actor already; namely as Tanjiro from Demon Slayer and Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul!

Interesting trivia on Falco Grice

Falco Grice was actually the very first new character that fans were introduced to in season 4 episode 1, The Other Side of the Sea.

Across the adventure we’ve witnessed in the fourth season so far, Falco has been involved in numerous battles, including the attack on Fort Slava, Liberio and Shiganshina.

Whilst most fans will think of Falco as the whining, less-awesome version of Gabi, there are several interesting titbits of information about the character that most fans will be unaware of.

For example, Isayama actually revealed back in 2017 that Falco was inspired by the character Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad.

However, it is the voice behind the character that is now gaining attention with the Attack on Titan community.

Who voices Falco in Attack on Titan?

The voice actor playing Falco Grice in Attack on Titan is Natsuki Hanae, a popular actor from the Kanagawa Prefecture in Japan.

The 30-year-old made his professional debut in 2011 and has gone on to become one of the most recognizable voices within the modern anime industry.

In addition to being one of the most active voice actors in Japan, Hanae is also a successful YouTuber. His channel his focuses on Let ‘s Play-style videos, boasting over 2 million subscribers and 649 million total views!

In the English dubbing of Attack on Titan, Falco is voiced by Bryson Baugus. The 27-year-old Texas-native made her professional debut in 2012 and predominantly works on anime dubbings for Funimation and Sentai Films.

Previous voice acting roles impress fans

Natsuki Hanae is a veteran of the anime voice acting industry, appearing in well over 100 titles since 2012.

Arguably his most-well known role outside Attack on Titan is from Demon Slayer, where Hanae voices the lead character Tanjiro Kamado and Tokyo Ghoul, when he portrayed Ken Kaneki.

Other notable roles have included features in Dragon Ball Super (Jaco the Galactic Patrolman), The Case Study of Vanitas (Vanitas), Odd Taxi (Odokawa), TenSura (Yuki) and One Piece (Grount).

Interestingly, Hanae has also voiced characters in the Japanese dubbing of various feature films, including Alex Rider, Cruella, Pacific Rim: Uprising, Monster Hunter and most recently, The Cuphead Show.

Bryson Baugus, the English voice actor for Falco Grice, has also featured in countless dubbed versions of your favorite series. His most-notable roles are as Bell Cranel from DanMachi, Mitsuru from Darling in the Franxx and Shoyo Hinata from Haikyu.
