Shortly after the 12th and final episode of its third seasonthe production staff for Kaguya-sama: Love is War has revealed that a new anime is in production. The announcement was made as a visual tagline and more details about the anime will be released at a later date. It is not currently known what format it will be released in.
Kaguya-sama: Love Is War -Ultra Romantic- is the third season of the long-running romantic comedy series. It was broadcast from April 9, 2022 to June 25, 2022. 12 episodes in total have aired, concluding with an 1-hour long season finale. Crunchyroll is currently streaming the series, along with its previous seasons, which broadcasted in 2019 and 2021 respectively.

The returning voice cast consists of Aoi Koga as Kaguya Shinomiya, Makoto Furukawa as Miyuki Shirogane, Konomi Kohara as Chika Fujiwara, Ryouta Suzuki as Yuu Ishigami, Yumiri Hanamori as Ai Hayasaka, and Miyu Tomita as Miko Iino.
The third season’s production staff consist of Mamoru Hatakeyama as director, Yasuhiro Nakanishi as series composer, Yuuko Yahiro as character designer, Risa Wakabayashi as art director, Kanako Hokari as color designer, Masaharu Okazaki as photography director, and Kei Haneoka as music composer. Additional staff members include Hiroshi Yakou, Yuuko Haribaand Kii Tanaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War Season 2) as chief animation directors. A-1 Pictures is in charge of animation production for the third season.
Aka Akasaka‘s original manga series was first published on May 19, 2015 and has released 26 tankoubon volumes as of June 2022. It is currently serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump under the Young Jump Comics label. Viz Media releases the manga in English for North America.
